Jr. Marksmanship Challenge January 2011

Jr. Marksmanship Challenge: Youth .22 rifle shooting match, and open to junior shooters 6 to 16 years old. Through partnership with National Shooting Sports Foundation, participants receive a comprehensive introduction to shooting that includes safety, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how to continue enjoying this sport. This shooting match is a competition for trophies and prizes, and is designed to introduce new shooters into 3 position shooting and the shooting sports as a whole. Informal matches such as these are held every 3 months to help teach youngsters how much fun the shooting sports can truly be for everyone. Landon Alley wins the 2010 Cameron Cup in Columbia, MO

Landon Alley, 15, has taken the top honor competing in his second NRA Action Pistol Cameron Cup event at Chapman Academy / Green Valley Gun Club, Hallsville. Landon has been shooting since the age of 4 and has just recently taken up competitively shooting handguns within the last two years.
Great job! Keep at it, and we look forward to seeing what he can do in the future.
