Jr. Marksmanship Challenge January 2011

Jr. Marksmanship Challenge: Youth .22 rifle shooting match, and open to junior shooters 6 to 16 years old. Through partnership with National Shooting Sports Foundation, participants receive a comprehensive introduction to shooting that includes safety, shooting fundamentals, hands-on instruction and how to continue enjoying this sport. This shooting match is a competition for trophies and prizes, and is designed to introduce new shooters into 3 position shooting and the shooting sports as a whole. Informal matches such as these are held every 3 months to help teach youngsters how much fun the shooting sports can truly be for everyone.
